Week One | Natural Beauty - Sunday 22nd September​ 


Paddy will cover all introductory techniques to ensure all areas are covered. Discover the beauty of creating a flawless, natural makeup look that enhances your clients unique features.

Week Two | Full Glam-  Sunday 29th September​

Unleash your clients inner glam with this iconic smokey eye, perfect for special occasions and nights out. The look that never goes out of style.

Week Three | Define Your Darkness-  Sunday 6th October


Learn the secrets of creating mesmerising makeup looks inspired by the roaring 20’s giving you all of the modern twists all whilst building your confidence with colour and darkness.

Week Four | Time to make the cut-  Sunday 13th October


Learn the art of a sharp defined makeup which pushes your eye for detail as well as your skill of precision to its limit, whilst continuing to guide you on your journey with colour confidence.

Week Five | Precision Perfect- Sunday 20th October


Get ready to make your client shine like a star with glamorous makeup fit for any red-carpet event.

Week Six |Tailor Your Technique- Sunday 27th October


Travel back in time and embrace the classic and timeless beauty of the 1950s. This look will focus on achieving precision with your eyeliner and sharp, symmetrical lip lines.


Week Seven |Flower Power Sunday 3rd November


Explore the beauty of monochromatic makeup and create stunning single-color looks. This look continues to push your focus on achieving symmetry and sharpness in its execution and when perfected will allow you the confidence to do eyeliner, of ANY style on ANY person.


Week Eight |Knowledge is Power Sunday 10th November


Makeup Artistry is a fast-paced industry so having an understanding of upcoming trends is a crucial part of staying ahead of the curve. You will be asked to give a five-minute presentation on the Fashion Designer of your choice from the following season. You will discuss the fashion trends, but most importantly the makeup trends. This will give you a greater understanding of the influence the runway and fashion weeks have on current makeup trends and styles. You will also prepare for your Photoshoot looks which will include one bridal look and one fashion/creative look.​


Week Nine|Photoshoot- Sunday 17th November


Photoshoot with Paddy McGurgan, ACA Models, Professional Photography and a Professional Hair Team . Where you will create two iconic looks to add to your professional portfolio and receive professional images.

My first day of the Academy I was so nervous I just didn’t feel as worthy or confident as all the other students. I looked at round and saw so much talent but as the weeks flew past I grew more confident, my class mates became my friends and still are. As for Paddy he was amazing and he always stuck by me.     This is an in person course that is one day per week (Sunday) based at Make Up Pro 133 Royal Avenue BT1 1FG
  • Who is this course for?
    Makeup Enthusiasts: People who have a passion for makeup and want to enhance their skills and knowledge for personal use or to experiment with different looks.

    Aspiring Makeup Artists: Individuals who aspire to become professional makeup artists and need formal training to kickstart their career in the beauty industry.

    Beauty Professionals: Existing beauty professionals, such as hairstylists, aestheticians, or cosmetologists, who want to expand their services and add makeup artistry to their skillset.

  • Will I need to buy a lot of makeup and tools?
    Building a professional kit will require investment but throughout the course you are guided where best to invest your money, and get the most from your products in terms of versatility. You are also given some discount codes to support you as a makeup artist continuing to build your makeup kit.
  • But, wait..I did training 10 years ago and I keep up to date with Instagram?? I don’t need more training?
    If you look at your artistry from ten years ago and it’s still the same now, you, as an artist will be left behind as a result of changing trends, and the dreaded word every make up artist winces to hear, you will become dated
  • I just turned 69, and am I (be honest) too old?
    Age means nothing if you have the passion and determination to succeed. Personally I have taught students from a vast age range and they have excelled across all age demographics.
